Hybrid car manufacturers say their battery packs last a lifetime, but anything is possible Ever bought a warrantee and had something happen to your car that wasn't covered? Even though a hybrid's battery is supposed to last a lifetime, chances are, something just might happen that you don't like. How much does a hybrid battery cost? You don't even want to know. There's risk involved when you make any purchase, but with the hybrid car, there are risks you never thought of. So go and buy a hybrid car, if you dare. You may think you know more than enough about hybrid cars when you really don't Before buying a hybrid car, you should come to terms with the fact that you are buying a new technological innovation, and it's new to everyone in the world. Therefore, who knows what surprises this new technology might throw us. Do you think people expected spyware to get on their computers? Nope. So remember, don't putt too much trust in technology or you may find yourself out in the cold.
